A/N: This may be odd, I don’t know. I was stumped when I was trying to work on my story and this sort of manifested itself. Some late night ramblings… I like them. I hope you do. Please share your thoughts and feelings. Thank you. Hannah

Alone

In the dark

Hello?”

A growl

From the deep

Who is there?”

Coming

Towards the light

I can’t see you.”

A step

Out of hiding

Silence

Fangs

Slip into a sneer

What are you?!”

Horns

Peek from behind a mane

Are you man?”

A guttural laugh

Echoing off stone walls

What is your name?”

Grey eyes

Bright with intelligence and resentment

“Will you not answer me?”

A reply

Beast”

Beast. What happened to you?”

Eyes roam

Over the questioner

Was it magic?”

A beautiful girl

Unmarred by fear or time

Is it permanent?”

Concerned eyes

Stunning without judgment

How can I help?”

The answer

“Stay”

Here?! For how long?”

The thought

Forever.”

Silence

A growl

From the deep

I will stay.”

Awash with relief

What is your name?”

Beauty.”
