-not enough want-

i want a better world

but I zip zip zip

everywhere

on soft seats and watch

the trees and the people and the towns

go behind me

it looks like a blur

it is a blur

I never noticed that store had a blue door

Or the rotting raccoon on the sidewalk

And how the trees turned purple in fall

And I havetogofast

BecauseifIdon’tgofast

Iwon’thavetime

ButIdon’thavetime

BecauseIgotoofast

I’m on gas, on sugar, on sex

I go in my car to buy sugar to have

Sex because all I care about is now

And now is wherever I can go

And leave everything behind me
