A/N: When I wrote these I didn't mean for them to go together, they just turned out that way and I liked it. The first part was inspired by Sugarcult's "Pretty Girl".
And that's what you get for falling again; you can never get him out of your head.
She clasped her hands tightly together over her chest as if trying to protect her heart and conceal it. She took a few steps back and stared at the figure in front of her, his posture was stern but his eyes were pleading for her mercy. She closed her eyes, the tears burned her face with memories and although she wanted to wipe them away her shaky hands refused to move.
And that's what you get for falling again; you can never get him out of your head.
A beautiful bride sat on the edge of an ocean staring into the water, unfazed by life
A little boy came up to her and asked, "Are you getting married?"
"No" the beautiful bride replied
"Why?"
"Because I have no groom"
The little boy frowned, "why?"
"Because he has not found me yet, but someday he will"
At this the little boy became confused, the beautiful bride took his hands in hers and smiled
"I have seen love with my own two eyes, I have felt its wonders and strengths, I know what it feels like to be cared for and care for someone in return, to feel safe at someone's touch and radiate into their gaze, to forget everything but pure happiness"
And then the beautiful bride looked ready to cry, the boy stared into her eyes to watch the tears form
"I have also seen love create a need in people that should not exist, I have seen it exist for the sake of existing, I have seen it make even the strongest heart crumble into tiny pieces, I have felt the tears created when those feelings are lost forever, the pain at the memories it once created, and the darkness created from confusion"
The little boy wiped the tears away from the beautiful bride’s face, the words merely a soft whispering in his ear.
"And through all of that I have decided to wait here for true love to find me, for I fear that if I go to find it I will become lost and lose my path and that I will only create more suffering for myself, and for love."
The beautiful bride let go of the little boy’s hands and continued gazing into the sea.
Years later the boy came back to that same exact spot and saw that it was empty, but the beautiful bride’s words were still in the wind and the sea, it was the very force turning the tides that smashed into the earth.
Patiently, the boy sat down and waited.
