Cornered in these stone walls

Like again

Loneliness is so wrong

When will it end?

I want to see you

La, la

You

La, la

You

My hat is been taken away

Sold for a couple of dollars today

The guard laughs at my mistakes

I have to escape out of here

If only I wasn’t stricken with fear

I have to get out of here

As the walls came crashing down on me

I quickly escaped into the sun

The were chasing us down

Like rabbits on the run

On the run

Oh what fun

Every man

From sand to sand

Were searching everyone

Because we’re on the run

The orchestra is on the run

As the lightning struck and the thunder crashed

The church bells ring and the children laughed

At the orchestra that was on the run

And the lady who stared said to us

Dear boy I hope you’re having fun

On the run

Oh what fun

Every man

From sand to sand

Were searching everyone

Because we’re on the run

The orchestra is on the run

Well after a while the searches settle down

The police and National Guard

All had frowns

The judge ordered them back to the village squares

To hurry and track them down

But soon enough

The search got tough

For we were no where to be found

Because were on the run

My oh my what fun

And every man from sand to sand

Were searching everyone

Because we were on the run

The orchestra on the run

Even saw the band on the run

We framed them and said thanks a ton

Still on the run

Oh on the run
