It’s never too crowded,

But it always seems full,

Of people and animals,

Who are strange, at a whole.

Its colors are red,

Orange, yellow, and deep, deep blue.

There are horses, tigers, dogs,

And calico cats, too.

It’s always alive,

But its energy varies.

Whenever I go there,

I never feel weary.

What’s that you ask?

When do I go there?

Almost always,

When I’m in a chair,

Bored half to death, maybe.

Or perhaps, if you see me,

Chances are,

I’m probably reading.
