The Beetle

Today—I saw a beetle,

while waiting for the Doctors news.

It made me laugh.

(I don't laugh enough)

It walked right over my pinkie toe,

Then made a big circle around the edge of the room.

(I think he was lost)

It was so little—so black.

It made me wonder,

just how it felt ,

to be so small,

and lost,in a world

that is so big.
