The life inside of me

The life within me

of me is moving

It has no face yet

it sees me and

knows me still

I sometimes sing

to it and moves

with my voice

I love it even before

fully comes to be

and care for it

with all my being

without hesitation

As it grows and grows

to leave and go on

I talk to it one more time

telling it and teaching

it everything I know

before its mind is

moved by the world
