Chapter 4: Popcorn and Kisses

The pizzas are not here. I want my delicious meat lovers pizza, complete with hamburger, sausage, chicken, and peperoni. No ham cause I have to share my pizza with Ewan and he doesn't like mixing his two favorite foods. Don't look at me like that, before we argued about the toppings, I hadn't known that he was so picky...or that two of his favorite foods were pizza and ham. But only ham as it is prepared at Christmas. Sorry I lost track of what I was saying...

So here I am flopped across Liam's couch. Sadly, I don't have the fabulously comfy couch to myself, as I normally would. Ewan, git that he is, sat down near one end just as I threw myself over the back and onto the softness. My head landing on a pillow right next to Ewan's leg.

He was looking at me like I was crazy. I merely cocked my head to the side and smiled up at him. He leaned towards me, and I swear he would have kissed me except Epic Tard and Stupid McSatan(otherwise known as Aaron and Kyle) decided to pick me up and toss me back and forth between them.

"WHAT IN THE NAME OF DAMIAN'S ROTTEN GYM SOCKS ARE YOU DOING?!" I screeched at the point where I was tossed into Kyle's arms.

"We're bored," Aaron smirked at me as i was thrown into his arms.

"HOW THE HELL DOES THAT MAKE TOSSING ME AROUND LIKE A HACKEY SACK OKAY?!"

"Um, because we're banned from any activites involving the movement of any inatimate while on Liam's property..." Kyle gave me an adorable smile as Aaron launched me towards him.

Having had enough, I twisted my body mid air. Kyle wasn't expecting it, thus he was knocked to the ground and cushioned my fall. I got up, but kept a foot on his chest to keep him in place.

"Next time you're bored, you'll want to reconsider tossing anyone through the air. And do rememder if you try it on me again, I will render you incapable of having children and your mother will nag you for the rest of your life. Plus it'll hurt like hell." Isteppedover him a sat down next to Ewan, smacking him as I did.

"What was that for?!" he whined, rubbing his arm.

"You let them toss me around!" I glared.

"Well what about Aaron? He actually threw you." Ewan sounded like he was pouting.

"Oh he'll get his." I smiled evilly.

Aaron looked especially worried, but he was given a repreive by the arrival of the food. As soon as the pizzas were set down, I grabbed mine, sat it between Ewan and me, and dug in. After four slices and two sodas, I was full and no longer quite so insane. Ewan finished off our pizza and tossed the box onto the coffee table. We watched as Kyle and Aaron scarffed down a whole pizza each, while Liam, Lily and Talia finished one between them. Once we were all full we decided to put in a movie. It was down to Armageddon or 300. Talia, Lily, and I voted for Armageddon. Kyle, Liam, and Aaron wanted to watch 300. Thus it was up to Ewan. I turned to him, the full force of my best puppy dog eyes unleashed. I even managed to look like I would cry. He sighed and then...

"Armageddon." he shook his head. And while Lily and Talia squealed over our victory, Kyle shouted that I had cheated, as he couldn't use his wiles to affect the outcome, so I shouldn't be allowed to either.

I laughed quietly. Lily put in the movie and it was starting. I really love that movie. Its my favorite of all time. I remember the best date I had ever been on, started with a local carnival and ended with popcorn and that movie.

I was brought out of my musings just as the screen showed the first view of Earth from space, the shot where the comet that killed the dinosaurs hits. Yeah I kind of have the whole movie memorized...

Ewan leaned close, and his breath tickled my skin as he whispered, "That was a good trick, you should be an actress. But now you owe me."

I angled my head towards him slightly. "And what is it exactly I owe you?" I whispered back.

He smirked and leaned closer, "Well seeing as that pout of yours made me want to...well let's leave it at you owe me a kiss, and a damned good one at that."

I was biting my lip, a habit when I am nervous. I tried to quickly glance into his eyes, but I got caught in the emerald that had replaced the sea green of earlier. He moved closer, our lips were nearly touching.

"Don't do that darling," he paused and seem to regain himself. "When you bite your lip like that, It makes me want to do the same."

I blushed. Like a school girl with a crush, I blushed and quickly turned away. Looking around the room to see if anyone noticed, I saw Lily watching with a satisfied smirk.

I mouthed "Shut up Leonard" and he glared and turned back to the movie. When it got to the sad parts, I cried. And surprisingly, a certain someone wrapped an arm around my shoulders and pulled me close, my head resting on his shoulder. Throughout the course of the movie Aaron and Kyle had fallen asleep, somehow waking up every time a city was hit by meteors. Lily had had to leave part way through the training montage, becuasesome starlett was having a hair emergency. And Talia and Liam were almost cuddling on the love seat(and they looked so cute). But we ran out of popcorn right at the part were the Feds were chasing Bear on his motorcycle and I went to the kitchen to make more. Not a minute later, I was joined by Ewan. He tried to sneak up on me, but I turned just as would have grabbed me.

"So how 'bout you give me my kiss?" He smiled charmingly.

His hands were propped on the counter, essentially caging me in his arms. The price for my freedom, obviously, was the kiss he wanted. And I have to say I was more than willing to pay. I looked up into his eyes, and he moved closer, pressing me against the counter. I wrapped my arms around his neck and brought my lips to his. As soon as I did, he took control of the kiss and I lost track of everything around me. Sadly, we were interupted when Stupid McSatan(Kyle) walked in wanting popcorn. Hesaw us and grabbed the popcorn.

"You two are depriving me of my popcorn so you can suck face?" He sounded honestly offended, but the smirk on his face proved that this little scene of ours was more interesting to him than the movie.

"Get out," Ewan growled.

I laughed and untangled myself from his arms, I snatched the popcorn and ran back to the living room. I was safely back on the couch by the time Ewan and Kyle came in, Kyle was massaging what looked like a brand new bump on his head. As Ewan settled next to me, wrapping his arm around me, he whispered in my ear.

"Want to go to go to a premier with me?"

"As arm candy or a date?" I questioned.

"Hmm, how 'bout you go as my girlfriend?"

I was a little shocked, we had known each other a day and he wanted to be an item? However, my shock wasn't affecting my answer.

"I'd like that." I smiled at him.

He leaned in and kissed me, not caring that the others were now watching us and not the movie. I leaned on him, and sighed happily. This has to have been one of the best days I've had in a long, long time.
