I’ve left you

Wake up

I look around the room

All I see are cobwebs, dusty curtains and broken furniture

Then I see you

Standing over there

Smiling evilly towards me because I’m still there

How could you be so evil

How could you be so cruel

How could be so overpowering

Am I just a fool?

You welcomed me in to this so-called fun life

You told me it’s alright

I can sleep till twilight

You said you’d always be there when I need you

But when problems came up you didn’t show

That’s when I realized that you caused it all

I stand up

I turn around

I race out the door

You chase me

You grab me

You pull at my hair

You yank me to the floor as you close the door

I scream

I cry out for help

Oh, is there anyone out there who can knock this guy out?

Suddenly I feel the ground trembling

The whole room is quaking

I feel my heart pounding as the whole world is shaking

I immediately leap to my feet

And like I’ve rehearsed it a thousand times

I fight you and I succeed

You fool!

You’re nothing with him here beside me

My hero and I calmly stand there looking at you

Who’s quivering with fear

We turn to leave

I hear you plead

We shut the door

You yell for more

I”ve left you

You’ve not left me

I’ve left you

You’re mad as can be

I’ve left you

You’re chasing me

I’ve left you

You want me back

I’ve left you and I’m never going back
