I want to watch the pieces
Fall away
Fall to the ground
Fall through my fingers
In droplets of blood

I want to feel the coldness
As it spills over me
As it cracks
As it breaks through apathy

In waves of realism
I want to touch the broken art
When my belief dies
When I lose the tug-o-war
When my heart beats more and more

I want to watch the pieces
Amalgamate again
Like a puzzle in the whole
With each piece placed exactly
In it’s rightful place,
Each piece fitting in
A bigger picture
A bigger vision
Of it all

I want to watch it all
Fall apart
Then come together
Over and over again,
Like a beautiful waterfall
Cascading o’er a mountain
Forward and rewind,
Crisp and clear.
