The Case For Love
July 12, 2007

Night falls, the moon shines, the stars sparkle bright colors
Just as the night is dark, the moon is silver, and the stars are gold
So is the heart of one who longs for love,
like a man crawling in the desert starving of thirst for fresh cold water
Does a man have the heart for love?
But what is love?
Feeling passionately towards the object of affection
Or deeply feeling infactuated and desiring the other person
Is chemistry needed?
Is it the desire to be together...personally, intimately, and spiritually...?
What defines love as love?
Actions, words, motives, vices...or just affection?
Believe me, I don't know all that much...
but I do know that love is all that's needed in order for a relationship to succeed
Without the power of love, all is nothing...
I can have all knowledge, all power, and all gold and silver,
but without love, all of this is nothing whatsover
I want love...rather, I have love
God, being absolute, is love in completeness
Jesus Christ, the manifestation of God's love,
dwells in heaven at His right hand,
while His Holy Spirit resides in those who are born of love
God's children, the saints of God, are born to love all people
While loving God, all is honorable, loving each other is hard
But loving friends, family, and teachers are all common...
what about loving someone so deeply and beyong these boundaries?
Loving your significant other or wanting to love someone you could marry...that's the issue
Do you want someone to love? I know I do. I long for it,
just like the deer panting for the water
But in God's time...it shall come to past.
Oh Lord...it seems so long...but you are so patient with me
please let me be patient...for I too, long to love as well...
Loving heart, Longing love
