Somewhere...Over the Clouds

Somewhere...over the clouds is the one waiting for my heart

that thing that goes thump-thump every second, minute, hour, and day

she longs for...to hear it's message in her chest and the power of it's grasp

deep within her being

Day and night, she prays to come hither, wondering wstrhy I am

But night and day, I shout and pray, "Eve, where art thou?"

Where are you hiding? Is the Almighty shielding our path?

In His time, we shall appear before one another

embracing lovingly, crying joyfully, and shouting rejoicingly to His thanks

Somewhere, over the clouds I wait for her, to hear her voice...

Call my name, tell me that you love me, tell me that you're searching for me

Day after day, month after month, year after year...I wait for you

It's stretching into years since that first drop of love seeped into my blood

and henceforth my desire to crave your love has never ceased to be

Like a vampire seeking to feed his hunger of blood and water,

I desperately seek to out to find that one who will enhance my life

God has blessed my life tremendously, but with you shall it be even better

If you know where you are, please send me a rainbow,

draped in your love, carved in your care, with your sweet rosy scent

dabbed in the colors of patience, temperance, meekness, gentleness, self-control,

and the rest...I long to have

Beautiful you are, I know, for the love you possess for God is amazingly astounding

I prayed for you tonight, as I do everyday, sometimes not directly, hoping the Holy Spirit

will guard that prayer, so that He will give God glory to what you have brought together

One day, that will be true of us...only waiting...that's the hard part

So, while I know you're somewhere over the clouds, here on this earth

If you seek me, you will find me...I, want to find you!!

Oh Lord, bring me my bride,

that I may demonstrate your love toward her, just as Christ did His church

Loving her I will, for just as You loved me, died for me, took away my sin and gave me new life,

let me love her, whom You have given to me, gracefully overlooking all transgression and looking at loving compassion and pointing her to the cross of Christ, our only hope

One day, I pray tomorrow, if that be, we shall finally know who we are...

So just so you know, I love you very much...I only hope, too, that you love me so!
