Hungry Loss

I bring it upon myself... this torture.

Knowing how much I hurt myself whenever I let the phone ring your number in my palm.

It just hurts so bad, I'm losing you day by day.

Why didn't you tell me about her again?

Why do you intentionally keep such things from me?

My tears surprise even me... why do I allow my eyes to brine?

Every line I write is about you who I don't want to write about anymore...

But I haven't the strength yet to stop...

I have this aching hunger, twisting my stomache into knots...

And I'm warning myself to just give up.
