Constellation

The scattered numbers speak to me,

Tell me you are part of a constellation.

Blue dragon scales speckle the orange earth.

We each pick a piece.

You toss me another, show me, grinning,

Show me how easy it is.

I put two and two together –

None fit.

My numbers break. (Things fall apart.)

They tell me,

You are part of a Constellation.

(I toss you another.)
