A/N: I am lousy at first person, so this is a big venture for me. Be kind, I'll take any advice I can get. I love the story I have planned and really want it to come out great. xox... saint

The year was 2021, the place Alikoy city. A fairly up and coming city filled to the brim with big thinkers, looking at the big picture. Life in Alikoy city was fresh lively. It was the perfect place to stake our claim, to come out of hiding…With new laws in place and a new outlook, humans and vampires, co-habitat.

Two separate forms of government existed in the city, that which pertains to the humans, and that which is solely vampire. Within the city were 5 major vampire covens, the Linales, the Eternitiea’s, the Burchellies, the Evermores, and the Terminalies. Each coven had its own master vampire, a leader in wisdom age and years. Each over 700 years old, they could not be surpassed. The masters decided to split the city into 5 nice, even pieces and live peacefully. They did for the next 20 years, however it was a fragile existence and it was only a matter of time before the peace would be shattered…

2041, a series of grizzly murders had been committed. The women were found slaughtered, beat of lie and drained of blood. All the victims were humans, the murderers decidedly vampires. However being that vampires are already dead it was impossible for the murderer to be placed. In an attempt to protect their coven the Terminalies turn over false evidence against members of the Evermore clan. With out any way to prove themselves innocent, the 19 suspects were executed in their homes while their families stared on in horror…

With the vampire trusts broken, every move made by another coven was taken as offensive maneuver. No longer did the bond of vampirism hold the 5 covens together. They began to turn on one another… begin the blood wars.

2045, the battle waged on, Coven against coven. brother, at the throat of brother. With no end in sight, the wars came to a stale mate. They were equally matched, in size in strength, in will to survive. However… there was one thing that could tip the scale. One weapon, that would ensure its holder ultimate victory. This weapon… was a siren. She was said to be as deadly as she was beautiful. Her song would draw you in bring you close make you want nothing more then to be hers. Then as you sat eagerly dreaming she would strike, and rip out your still beating heart with a perfectly manicured hand. All 5 covens knew with a weapon like that, they would be able to turn the war in their favor. It would grant them the power to bewitch entire armies, and slaughter them while they stare enchanted by a song, by a dream. When an anonymous tip was sent to the masters about a siren in the city, each leader sent a tracker to procure the lovely legend, and bring victory to their people. That’s where I come in

My name is jack… and I am a 500 year old vampire. Allow me to rephrase. They call me jack; it is not the name I was given at birth. I don’t remember that name; 500 hundred years will do that you. I don’t remember much of that life. I try to live for each day, each step forward. Though, it gets harder and harder to feel that way, especially now that “she” is gone… but I’m straying from the point.

I have decided to write my memoirs not for any selfish reason like money or fame… no, none of that. This probably won’t even be published till long after I turn to dust. The reasons are simple and pure. To tell the story of the beautiful siren, who can’t tell it herself, and above all to clear my tattered mind.

The year was 2045; the vampire wars were raging on. I remember the day when it all began, the day that set into motion the series of events that would become the siren chronicles.
