I want to swing around a

Light pole on a Paris street

I want to take lunch

At a café in Annecy

I want to run through

Fields of lavender in Grasse

I want to twirl about a

Glass of Chardonnay in my fingers

While sampling only the

Finest Gruyère

I want to wear a white

Lace dress from Marseille

As I walk on the white sand

Of the Côte d’Azur

After my ski trip and prolonged

Vacation in Savoy

More than anything?

I want to wake up in a flat

Amongst white linen sheets

And caressing arms

And champagnes bottles

I want little boys and girls

To run through our door

Shouting “Maman, Maman”

Scrambling for kisses

More than anything?

I want

I need

Someone to share this dream with
