“This Moment”
I
can see reflection in her eyes
And it makes me wonder
I can see
all goodness in her eyes
It strikes me like lightning
I
feel many things when I look at her
Tell her to quit so I can
think
Oh why does she make me fall apart
Just a kiss and I’m
stricken
Silly little words make her smile
I wish I could
repeat them over and over
A comment or two that make her
laugh
Make me giddy inside
If I could freeze this moment
I
would be here forever more
I wish I could freeze this
moment
Because there’s nothing more I want
Is she a
dream? Because she seems perfect
But I suppose dreams aren’t
good like this
But if it is don’t wake me up
I want to spend
eternity here
A walk through the park, she’s bubbly and
beautiful
If it’s in the dark, she’s romantic
When she’s
incensed, it’s unusual
At dawn and twilight, she always has a
heart
If I could freeze this moment
I would be here forever
more
I wish I could freeze this moment
Because there’s
nothing more I want
Petrified, only one thing’s in my
mind
Your eyes they capture
Happy sighs, always count away the
time
Time till you must leave me
Her beauty so raw yet
slipping away
Oh, I see, she has to go
Not quite enough but
I’ll say it anyway
“Good night,
I love you.”
