Hijacked Episode 16: Blown Away

Mitch opened the door to the plane. He selected Anthony, Taurie, and Josh from the crowed and had them follow him. There was a spare gun on the plane that he picked up to use to force them out of the plane. He also forced out Danny and Juliet. He closed the door behind him. None of the other passengers dared to follow. He walked the five of them about 3 yards from the plane and forced them to their knees. He tied their hands behind their backs.

Taurie asked, "So what is this? Where have you taken us?"

Mitch replied, "That answer will become clear in about ten minutes."

Josh said, "You're gonna burn for this."

Mitch replied, "Your childish threats do not frighten me."

Josh said, "Whose threatening? That was a promise."

Mitch gave a brief chuckle.

The minutes seemed to drag on endlessly. But eventually, Taurie spotted a large delivery truck in the distance, approaching the area. Danny secretly began to untie his rope.

Taurie asked, "So, you were planning on meeting someone here?"

Mitch replied, "Indeed. I landed on the exact coordinates agreed upon. This is it people, the moment that will define the remainder of your pathetic lives has arrived."

The truck arrived in front of them. Out from the drivers seat stepped a man. From the passenger's seat stepped a face very familiar to Danny. It was Mr. Davis, the head of the Davis crime family.

He said to everyone, "Hello there everyone. Some of you, already may know who I am (he gives a sharp glare to Daniel), for those who don't I shall properly introduce myself. My name is Mr. Davis; you shall address me as that. I am the head of the Davis crime family, which all of you know well. You five, you are here to serve me, in whatever I command of you. If you refuse this, you will lose your life. If you fail any task given, you will lose your life, if I even grow tired of you, you will lose your life. So, strive to be great, and perhaps one day you may become a high ranking member of my organization."

He then turned to Mitch, and said, "I assume that my other three servants failed in their mission?"

Mitch replied, "Unfortunately sir, they have. They have perished in their failure."

Mr. Davis replied, "Good riddance, failure will not be tolerated while working for me."

He looked at Mitch. He said to him, "I notice you seem quite beat up. Did our new workers give you trouble?"

Mitch replied, "They were difficult, but I have completed my mission, as you asked."

"Ah yes, but you, with all the training I gave you, struggled against these new workers, who I have not trained. You are weak, you are not fit to serve me."

Mitch please, "Please sir, I promise to do better next time."

Mr. Davis said, "There is no next time when you work for me."

Mr. Davis aimed a gun at Mitch and shot him in the chest, killing him instantly. Mitch's body fell to the ground. Juliet screamed in horror. Everyone became nervous and shocked at how little value of life Mr. Davis actually had.

Mr. Davis whispered something to his driver. The driver reached into the truck and picked up a device. He went over to the plane and attached it. The driver then pressed a switch on another gadget he had in his pocket. The plane then was lifted back into the sky. The passengers on board were terrified. Suddenly, the plane exploded, taking the life of everyone onboard. Everyone was really afraid now.

Mr. Davis said to them, "I requested you five specifically, because I thought that you would be the most useful. However, I appear to have ordered too many of you. I can only use four additional workers. And now that you all have seen the events that have taken place today, if you do not come back with me, you may not continue on living in this world. So one of you, here and now, must die. But the question is, who shall that be?"

Everyone became extremely worried. Was there any way to escape this?

Mr. Davis walked up to them. He came first to Anthony. He said to him, "Anthony, you have proven to be quite the terror when you put your mind to it. I know about the incident at your school that time, I'm sure you have never forgotten that day, huh?"

Mr. Davis continued on towards Taurie and Josh. He said to them, "I'm sure the day you killed my younger cousins is fresh in your mind, even three years later. They had some losers hijack the school. But they were the real enemies. You should know that the girl Maraca from an enemy family has been killed. (Taurie and Josh look astonished and afraid) Although you two brought shame to my family, you displayed some excellent skill."

Mr. Davis came down to Juliet and Danny. He said to them, "And, how can I forget you young Daniel? The boy who infiltrated my family years back; you have grown up nicely since then. You proved to be quite the opponent back then, willing to do anything at all for your younger sister, Juliet. You have also impressed me with your skill. However, your sister has shown me little reason as to why I can keep her around. Plus, she is your weakness Danny. Your desire to protect her up until now has made you stronger, but in order for you to become completely worthy of my respect, you need to lose everything. Therefore, I choose to execute Juliet right here."

Taurie protested, "NO, I won't let you."

Mr. Davis said, "You cannot do a thing about it."

He took his gun and aimed it at Juliet. Danny had successfully untied his ropes. He also quickly but secretly untied Juliet's ropes. He jumped up, shouting his sister's name. He quickly stood in front of her as the gun went off, firing a lethal bullet into Danny's chest. Danny stood there for a brief second before falling back.

Mr. Davis smiled and said, "Fine, have it your way fool, I'll keep your sister, for now."

Everyone rushes to Danny. Juliet, her hands untied reaches to her brother. Blood is rushing out of his wound and she knows that he has no hope of survival. Mr. Davis' driver reaches for his gun, but Mr. Davis stops him.

He says to his driver, "No, let her experience this. Perhaps she will learn from it."

Danny managed to gather up the strength to talk. He said, "Juliet, I'm sorry I let you down."

She said, "No, you didn't, this is all my fault." She began to cry.

Danny said, "No, don't ever let yourself think that this is your fault. If it's anyone's fault, it's my own. And don't cry, be strong, be strong for mom and dad, be strong for me. Promise me Juliet; promise me that you will never give up on your life, no matter how much it hurts. Promise me!"

She said, "I promise." She put her hand on his.

Danny turned his head to Taurie and said, "Take care of her, keep her safe, no matter what?"

Taurie replied, "Of course, you have my word on it."

Danny turned back to Juliet and said, "I love you, and I always will, even into eternity. I pray to God that we can meet again one day, after you have lived a long and full life. We can be with mom and dad, and everyone else we've lost along the way. Be strong Juliet. Never let my words fade in your heart, and in your soul. I love you."

With that, Danny inhaled and exhaled his final breath and died. His eyes were open in a blank stare. Out of human compassion, Juliet placed her hand over her brother's face and shut his eyes for the last time. Anthony, Josh, and Taurie were moved to tears at this sight.

After a few minutes passed, Mr. Davis said, "Alright, its time to go. You've had your mourning time, now toughen up."

Taurie said, "She just witnessed the person she loves most in the world die a terrible death. Can't you at least let her grieve?"

Mr. Davis said, "Grieving is for the weak."

He had his driver pull Juliet from her brother's dead body. Mr. Davis opened the back of the delivery truck. He said, "Put them in there. There is a beach about 1 mile from here, after you put them in there, dispose of the carcasses over there in the ocean. Let them float out to sea." The driver carried all of them and placed them in the back of the truck. None of them dared to fight back. Taurie glanced at Mr. Davis as the door to the back of the truck closed. HIJACKED!
