What we deserve

Someone up there commanded it

Someone up there is probably smiling

But we can’t see it, down here in hell.

We can’t see through the flames

Is this when we began to wonder?

Who’s really up on those clouds?

Who can really smile while looking down?

What “good” person commanded this?

Commanded the people to rampage

Commanded the people to paint everything red

Commanded everything to be torn down

Supposedly to build anew

What did really do wrong?

Fail to believe in the clouds?

Fail to stare down the instarable?

No, we did nothing wrong.

So we shall rebel, tear down the sky

Just like they tore down the ground.

An eye for an eye, a life for a life.

We WILL stare it down.

We ran them out of the sky

Kicked them down on the flames.

So now we sit here on our clouds.

And we smile.
