“Now go to sleep. Good night, my beautiful star.” He gave her one last heart stopping, knee weakening smile before dropping his head back into the crook of her neck.
“Mm, you smell good,” He murmured before drifting off to sleep.
Regina smiled to herself and turned her body a bit more, so she could snuggle closer to Desmond, purring softly, making Desmond grin in his sleep, and she soon feel into a peaceful sleep herself.

Edited. // Fixed. (somewhat)
The first time I had uploaded this chapter, the first part of it was all jumbled together and I didn't even realize it, so yeah - it should be good now. If you find anymore mistakes, please inform me. Thanks:)

(Regina’s POV)
My back was up against the wood door, sweating somewhat slightly. My breath was going at an erratically, fast speed. The parents looked up at me with a quizzical look.
“Wha-what?” I asked breathlessly.
“Nothing, honey; where’s Desmond?” My mother asked.
I took a minute –getting my breath to a normal rate again- before answering, “Uh…the neighbor’s evil rottweiler ate him?” I attempted to explain; not convincing my mother, or myself.
She just stared at me unbelievingly, raising her eyebrow. “The neighbor doesn’t have a rottweiler. Now, how about telling me the truth?”
“Ma, it is the truth! I’m serious,” I said with wide eyes, trying to act out the scene, throwing my arms in the air. “He just jumped out of no where and attacked Desmond. He knew that I was going to be missed more, so he said for me to leave; so of course I did what he said. You know the whole ‘last wishes’ and all.” I finished off, shaking my head in ‘sorrow’, then flashing them an innocent smile.
Mrs. Livingston just laughed at my antics in amusement.
“Allegra, don’t encourage her.” My mother said, not at one bit amused.
“I’m sorry, Selena; it’s just that you’re daughter as a creative imaginary.” She replied, laughing a bit louder now.
She gave a little chuckle, “Yeah, you’re right; she does.”
I smiled wider, “Well since we’re passed that...I’m going to leave now. Bye!” I rushed out, ready to make an exit through the back door.
“Not so fast, my beautiful star,” Desmond drawled out, taking a hold of my wrist so I can’t escape. “Aren’t you going to help me with my stuff?” He asked, giving me a puppy face.
‘Oh no buddy, that’s so not working on me!’
But how can you resist that adorable face?
‘Shut up, you! His face is nowhere near adorable…It’s just a big bowl of yucky-ness.’
“Yucky-ness?-! Isn’t that a bit harsh?” Desmond whispered in my ear, pouting slightly.
Wait! My ear?-!
Since when was he so close to me?
My breath started to come out in quick, short breathes. I didn’t know what to say; my tongue was all tongue-tied and whatnot.
So I did the only thing that I could do the moment – blushing at the closeness and start stuttering incoherent words, trying to form a sentence, “I…Uh…You….and….I mean…Uh… I’ll just stop talking now…” I mumbled, blushing deeper.
This made Desmond laugh, “You’re so cute when you blush.” He said, grinning widely.
And now, of course, cue the unwanted blush.
You know you like it when he talks to you like that.
‘Oh be quite! I do not.’ Glare. Glare. GLARE! And a growl afterwards.
“Damn, now that’s the sexiest growl I’ve ever heard. It kind of turns me on,” the ‘thing’ said, smirking that stupid smirk of his.
I was about to retort to that, but he cut me off, “What? But, baby, I’m not a 'thing'…and besides, if I was, I would be your ‘thing’.” He said smiling.
“Oh, shut up -…” And there he goes cutting me off again…and wait, what is he doing?!
“Come on, let’s go,” Desmond said, picking me up and smacking my butt playfully, chuckling slightly. “There’s a lot of unpacking to do.” Desmond made his way up the stairs, walking through the end of the hallway, and making a right.
There were a lot of boxes, and I mean a lot.
‘Does he honestly think I’m going to help him unpack all of that?’ I thought to myself, making a face in the process.
And his room, don’t get me started on that – it was enormous. Actually, that’s an understatement. I know - it’s that huge…My eyes were (practically) popping out of its eye sockets.
Why are you so amazed by his room? You used to come here all the time.
'Exactly - used to. Besides, my mom made me all those other times, and it's been like, a year. So of course I don't remember it as much.'
Desmond laughed, and I glared… “What?” I asked, frowning a bit.
“Nothing…Ha-Ha…You should have…seen the look…on your face.” Desmond laughed out.
“What about it?” I asked rudely, raising my left eyebrow, my frown growing deeper. “Are you trying to imply something?”
“No! No! Of course not,” Desmond said, placing a frown on his even more (handsome) ugly face, (a look saying ‘how-could-you-even-think-that?’). “Besides, you’re beautiful; so even if I was implying something – it’d be good, definitely good.” He flashed me a toothy grin and winked afterwards.
And of course…I blushed at what he said. This caused me to scowl at myself.
You’re only blushing because it was him who said you are beautiful.
‘N-No! That’s not true.’
Ha-ha…right. That’s not what your face ‘says’.
‘What?-! There’s writing on my face and it say’s that! Ah!’
I was joking. Man, you’re so gullible. He-he.
I knew she (I mean, ‘myself’ – if that even makes sense) was joking…but just in case… -
I hastily whipped at my face repeatedly for a whole minute.
At my actions, Desmond looked at me with a raised eyebrow and an amused look. “Um, babe, are you okay?” He asked chuckling.
“Uh…yeah, of course,” I said, chuckling nervously (not that I have anything to be nervous about). “Is there anything on my face?” Desmond raised his eyebrow. “Um…I’m just…asking.”
Right, of course you don’t think anything is on your face.
‘Of course I don’t…I’m just…making sure?’
Okay, then why don’t you sound so convincing?
‘Well…that’s because…Uh…- Just shut up!’
Desmond’s quizzical look turned into a smirk, “Um, actually, you do have a little something on your face.” I shrieked loudly.
‘What?-! I knew it! I do have something on my face. Ah!’
And you said you don’t think there was anything on your face. Lies.
‘But you said there was, then said there wasn’t – when actually there was something on my face. And I knew it! Ah, my life is over.’
I began to rub furiously, trying to get off whatever it was on my face. Desmond laughed whole-heartedly at my antics.
I stopped, my face slightly red, and stared at him, frowning, “What are you laughing at?”
Desmond quickly changed his composure, “Um, nothing…” He said, trying to look innocent.
Keyword: trying - But definitely not succeeding.
I gave him a stern look, something a long the lines of ‘tell-me-or-I-shall-rip-your-head-off-and-feed-it-to-my-dog-then-castrate-you-afterwards’. Yeah, I do give pretty mean looks. And damn straight, am I proud of it.
Desmond’s eyes widen, swallowing harshly, “I was joking, and your face is perfect. So please, don’t hurt me...” He trailed off, his mood changing. “Not like you can. Well not with your little short self anyways.”
'Just because he's five inches taller then me doesn't give him the rights to make fun off my height.'
Well, you are pretty short.
'Shut up!'
I gasped, hitting him on the chest with the strongest punches I could muster. This just made Desmond laugh more. He grabbed onto my waist, hugging me closer to him.
“You’re so cute when you’re angry,” Desmond grinned. “And your punches are so cute!”
And with all these compliments he’s giving me – I blushed, and Desmond just started to laugh again. I glared at him, crossing my arms, a frown placed of my face – well, it looked more like I was pouting. Desmond seized his laughing, looking down at me, bringing his face closer to mine. Our lips were barely a centimeter away from touching. I lost my voice from the proximity, swallowing harshly.
‘Oh God, help me; he’s too close.’
You know you like the closeness, and you know you want him to kiss you.
I couldn’t even think properly with him so close like that. Desmond laid his forehead against mine, looking deeply into my eyes.
Almost as if he was trying to tell me something, trying to tell me what he has always felt.
Almost as if he was trying to tell me that he loves me…But that’s not possible…
And besides…No one can possible love me. I frowned at the thought, my eyes getting a bit teary. I was about to reach up and wipe it away before Desmond can notice (but I’m sure he did).
Just as I reached up, he grabbed a hold of my wrist gently, and reached up with his free hand to wipe the tear away. “What’s wrong?” He asked concern evident in his voice.
“Nothing…why?” I asked, my voice trembling a bit.
“Come on, babe, tell me what’s wrong. I don’t like seeing you cry, let alone, seeing you sad.” Desmond begged. “Please, babe. Tell me.”
“Nothing…it’s not like you care anyways…” I mumbled, my eyes starting to water again.
‘Nobody does…’
I really wanted to leave now, just so I could have a good cry – somewhere where no one can see me; where no one can find me.
Desmond wiped away the tears that were now falling freely down my cheeks by now, and hugged my small frame towards his much bigger one (he’s not fat, just way taller then me). “Shh, its okay, everything is going to be okay. I promise.” He cooed.
But once I heard those two words – ‘I promise’ – I dreaded most, I freaked out, and began to attempt at pushing Desmond away frantically.
Desmond’s eyes widened, “No, no…calm down, please.” He held onto me tighter, but gently enough not to hurt me. I just continued to thrash around in his (warm, loving) embrace.
‘Someone…anyone, please, just get me out of here…please…I can’t handle it…’
Calm DOWN! You’re freaking yourself out, and you’re freaking Desmond too.
‘He’s the one who’s lying…he’s promising something that can’t be done…and, I’m scared that…’
And at that moment, I felt dizzy. Black started to over come my sight. There’s no doubt – I fainted.
(3rd POV)
Desmond was now holding a fainted Regina in his arms, looking down at her with concern.
‘She looks so fragile…’ He thought to himself, feeling like this was his entire fault.
Right at that moment, four people opened through his bedroom door –one of them holding little Tristan- and looked horror stricken as they looked at the sight in front of them.
Regina’s parents looked the most horrified, running to her side instantly. Mr. Velez started to help Desmond place Regina on the floor carefully, while Mrs. Velez knelt down besides her daughter, nearly in tears.
“A-eh, wayup! Wayup!” (Ateh, wake up! Wake up!) Tristan started to yell, wanting to play with his big sister.
“Stop, honey,” Mrs. Velez cooed, sniffling a bit. “Regina’s trying to ‘sleep’.” She sniffled some more, her eyes glassy-looking. Mr. Velez rubbed his wife’s back in comfort.
“What happened here?” Mr. Livingston asked his son.
“I don’t really know.” Desmond said, still confused, and worried.
“Just start from the beginning.” Mr. Velez said.
So Desmond started to tell them everything that happened from the beginning till when she fainted.
“Is she going to be okay?” He questioned.
“She’s going to be fine. It’s just something that had happened...last year…” Mr. Velez said, looking down at his daughter, ‘feeling’ her pain. “She’s…not really…‘better’ yet. It’s hard for her to…trust people.” He tried to pick the right words, not wanting to offend Desmond.
Desmond felt hurt, his face showing it all – his emotions.
‘She doesn’t trust me…but…I don’t understand…’ He frowned deeply.
Mr. Velez saw his frown, “Look, don’t take it personal or anything…it’s just really hard for her…you know?”
“Yeah…I know…” Desmond grinned slightly, his heart beating painfully slow.
‘I’m just going to have to make her see that she can trust me…whatever it takes…I’m not stopping till she’s better, and in my arms (willingly, of course). I’ll protect her no matter what.’ Desmond thought determinedly, smiling down at the gorgeous face of his ‘beautiful star’.

(Two Hours Later)
Regina started to slowly wake up, feeling a warm sensation run through her body, making her nuzzle closer to the source.
‘Mm, this feels nice, real nice. I wish I could stay like this forever. Wait – is that…Old Spice?’ She thought to herself.
She moved in closer (if that was even possible), taking in a deep whiff of the cologne.
‘It is Old Spice!’ Regina thought, purring softly.
Desmond grinned widely, looking like an idiot, but he didn’t care; he felt like he was in heaven. Here he was, sitting down on the carpeted floor, back against the wall, and the girl he loved in his lap, holding her tightly but yet gently.
‘Damn, nothing can be better then this,’ Desmond thought.
‘Wait – did she just purr?’ That made him grin even wider.
He couldn’t help but chuckle at her antics, watching her as she tried to close more of the space in between them (which was nothing) – her expression changing into a frown, once she realized she couldn’t get anymore closer.
‘Wait – what happened anyway? Did my ‘pillow’ just chuckle? What if this ‘pillow’ is a perverted one and is trying to molest me? AH!’ Regina started panic, fidgeting in Desmond’s lap.
Desmond frowned at her movement. “Babe, what-…” He was cut off my Regina’s shrilling screech.
“Holy shit, Babe,” Desmond said, holding her tighter to him with his right arm, covering her mouth with his left hand. “Calm down.”
‘Ah! It has arms now, and is talking! Oh Lord, is this how I’m going to die; being killed by a ‘pillow’ who has really good cologne?!’ Regina thought, before realizing that she knew that voice from somewhere. But she couldn’t match it with a face.
Taking a risk, she slowly calmed down, opening her eyes slowly, ready to see a huge pillow ready to stab her – but it wasn’t a pillow, it was worse, much more worse then a gigantic-murderous pillow; it was…Desmond.
“Ah! It’s you…And you’re holding me!” Regina screamed, ripping herself from, Desmond’s (warm, loving, fuzzy – but she wouldn’t actually tell him that) embrace.
Desmond just frowned a bit, his tone serious, “Are you okay?” He questioned, getting up, and making a move towards her.
‘Why would he ask such a stupid question?’ She thought confused. ‘Oh…wait…that’s right…what had happened before – and I fainted…’ A frown soon placed on her lips.
Regina wearily stepped back from him, “Yes.” She answered timidly, looking like a scared little girl, wanting her mommy.
Every time Desmond tried to come closer, she kept taking a step back. He felt hurt by this.
‘I hope she’s not afraid of me…’ He thought.
“I’m sorry,” Desmond said sincerely.
Regina was a bit taken back by his words. ‘He’s sorry…but I just overreacted…I didn’t really mean to…’ She thought, feeling bad.
“Why are you sorry?” Regina questioned, a bit confused.
“Because it seemed like I scared you before, so yeah – I’m sorry, I never meant to scare you; that thought would never cross my mind.” Desmond said truthfully; you can tell he meant it by the look in his eyes.
Regina smiled slightly, “But you shouldn’t be the one who’s saying sorry…I should. I overreacted at the time; So, I’m sorry.”
“No really, it was my entire fault; don’t blame yourself, Baby.” He said, cautiously making his way towards her with his arm wide open, wanting her in his arms.
Regina slightly took a step back. Desmond saw her reaction and stopped half way, a pained look on his face.
‘I probably lost all chances of ever getting her to be mine…’ Desmond thought sadly.
He gave her a weak smile, putting his arms down, ready to say his apologies – but at that moment, Regina moved closer towards him, giving him a gigantic hug, burying her head into his chest.
Despite his surprise, he still hugged her closer, and bending downwards to bury his head into her neck, and she purred again without realizing it.
‘Doesn’t that hurt his back? I’m probably like five inches short then him!’ Regina thought. ‘I know, I’m short – unfair I tell you, unfair!’
‘She just purred again. Damn, this is a great feeling.’ Desmond though, smiling into Regina’s neck.
And of course, being the ticklish person she is, when his breath sprayed against her neck – she started to laugh, craning her neck to the side, trying to take his head out of there.
Desmond just laughed whole heartedly, loving her reaction. His laughing just made her squirm more, laughing a notch louder, and making Desmond laugh more also.
“You’re so damn cute.” Desmond grinned, looking down at her.
Regina just blushed at his comment, looking down, causing her bangs to cover her face. Desmond reached down and pushing her bangs to the side, out of the way.
“Much better, now I can see your beautiful face.” He said sweetly, grinning down at her.
“I, uh…um…” Regina stuttered out; the only think she could really do was blush.
‘Oh yeah, that was a smart response. Damn, I’m so stupid!’ Regina thought, resisting the urge to hit herself in the head.
“I just noticed...but you’re really short.” Desmond commented, trying to keep on a straight face, but failing miserably.
Regina glared at him, “You’re such a jerk, you big buffoon.” She retorted, jabbing him in the stomach (hard).
Desmond just laughed at her to inflict damage on him. “Do I at least get to be your buffoon?” He asked sweetly.
Regina just glared at him, and then turned her back towards him. Desmond chuckled quietly to himself, before turning her around to face him, bending down so they were face to face, and did the ultimate thing that always gets to her; he give her the puppy face, his eyes wide and his lips pouting. As soon as she saw the puppy face, her own eyes widen, immediately looking down.
‘Damn it, not the face. Gosh, why the hell does he –of all people- have to know my weakness?’ Regina thought to herself.
(Flash Back)
“Hey, wait up, my shining star!” Desmond’s 14 year old form called out, running towards Regina’s 13 year old form.
“What do you want loser?” Regina asked exasperatedly, reluctantly slowing down so he can catch up, which didn’t take him too long.
“I just wanted to walk home with you,” Desmond said innocently. “And even if I was a loser – which of course, I’m not- I’d be your loser, and only yours.” He said, throwing a wink her way.
This caused heat to rise up her face, “Just be quite and leave me alone.” She mumbled out.
Desmond just chuckled, “Oh, come on, do you really want me to leave you alone? I know I don’t want to.” He said, giving her the puppy dog face.
‘What?-! He is not doing the puppy dog face! I can’t take it…it’s like my weakness. It should be illegal to make that face at some one.’ Regina thought.
Desmond just continued with giving her the puppy dog face, nudging her a bit.
“Fine, whatever, you can stay.” Regina said, caving.
“Ha!” Desmond said, pumping his arm in triumph, then his expression changing into a sly one, “Wait, I think I just found your weakness. SCORE!” Desmond said, grinning down at her.
“N-No you didn’t!” Regina protested, “You were just really annoying, so yeah…” She trailed off.
“Right, if you say so.” Desmond said chuckling, poking her in the side, this made her squirm a bit.
“Stop that, that’s not funny.” Regina frowned, swatting his hand away.
“Sorry, my shining star; well, we’re here, I’ll see you tomorrow. Bye,” Desmond said, leaning down to kiss her on the cheek, before walk next door to his house, winking at her before he went inside.
Regina just stopped in mid-walk to touch the cheek he had kissed.
(End of Flash Back)
Desmond just lifted her head up by her chin with his hand, making her look at his face.
‘Aw crap, how am I going to get out of this one now?’ Regina thought.
“Fine, whatever,” Regina said, caving.
“Okay, say it then.” Desmond flashed her a smile.
Regina sighed, “You’re my buffoon, Desmond, now and forever.” She reluctantly said.
“The last part was a nice touch there, babe.” Desmond said, winking at her.
“You’re such a loser,” Regina said, laughing at him.
“But I’m your loser,” Desmond said in a sing song voice, grinning at her.
“Whatever,” Regina said, rolling her eyes. “Oh wait, if I fainted before…then how is it that most of your boxes are empty? How long was I out for anyways?” She questioned.
“Well, actually, I just unpacked most of the stuff while I let you rest a bit, and then I took a break – but it wasn’t that long, because a few minutes later you woke up.” He responded to her first question before answer the next, “It wasn’t that long, just about two hours.”
“Oh okay, and thanks for letting me rest a bit; are these the only boxes left?” Regina asked.
“Yeah, it should be,” Desmond said. “Nah, it was okay with me, you needed it anyways.”
Regina gave him a small smile, “Well, how about you supervise, while I start unpacking now?” She suggested.
“Oh no, I’m not letting you unpack by yourself.” Desmond protested.
Regina gave him a look saying ‘sit-down-relax-and-shut-up’. “Look, you already had to unpack by yourself, now it’s my turn.” She said, “Just do what I say and don’t protest, please.”
Desmond sighed, giving in, “Alright, fine, but I still don’t like the idea of you unpacking by yourself.” He gave her a frown, reluctantly sitting back down on the floor.
“Alright, which one should I start with?” Regina asked.
“Well, there’s really only clothes that’s left to unpack.” Desmond said.
Regina started to unpack a few boxes, humming a different show tunes to herself, while Desmond watched her with a smile on his face.
‘Man, I don’t think she can get anymore cuter then she already is.’ Desmond thought to himself.
Regina was trying to fold all of the clothes and put them into the drawer neatly, Desmond still watching her. She had already finished with two boxes in less then thirty minutes, and there was at least four more left.
Desmond was quickly becoming bored and thought of a funny idea. He got up from where he sat and walked up from behind her quietly, taking a box full of clothes with him. He soon dumped the contents of the box on top of her, which made her shriek in surprise.
“Desmond, you idiot,” Regina frowned, looking up, clothes all around her, and a boxer right on top of her head.
‘Ha-ha! She still looks cute like that though.’ He thought, giving her an innocent smile.
Regina tried to get up by lifting herself using Desmond’s pants, but it just caused her to pull him down right on top of her.
“Ouch,” Regina groaned out, trying to push Desmond of off her.
“Oh crap, are you okay?” Desmond asked, using his hands to pull himself off, but not entirely off of her.
“Yeah, I’m fine. Sorry I pulled you down.” Regina said.
“Nah, it’s cool. I like our position anyways,” Desmond said, winking at her. “Now I can have my way with you.” He joked, laughing a bit.
Regina just stared at him with wide eyes, looking at him like he was a molester.
“I’m just joking, Babe,” Desmond said, chuckling at the face she made.
“Yeah, right,” Regina said. “Now get off of me.” She said, trying to push him off with all her strength, but failed.
Desmond just laughed, “Nice try, but this is all muscle, Babe; want to feel?” He asked slyly.
“N-No…” Regina choked out.
Desmond just gave her a sly look, grabbing one of her hand and running it slightly down his chest, and slowly back up again. Regina didn’t know what to do, but she does want to feel his chest again. He left her hand there, so he could reach down and brush his hand against her cheek.
Regina swallowed harshly, before laying her palm against his chest with a bit more pressure, and then she started to rub her hands slowly down his chest. This made Desmond take in a sharp breath.
Regina soon realized what she was doing and pushed Desmond of off her, feeling embarrassed, “Look, w-we…should finish…unpacking.” Regina stuttered out.
Desmond just grinned at her, “Alright, fine, if you say so.” He stood up and reached down to pick her up, and set her back on her feet again.
After another hour of unpacking, they were finally done.
“Man, that was tiring,” Regina said, sitting down on the floor.
“Yeah, it was, but I still think there’s something missing here.” Desmond said with uncertainty.
“Really, what is it?” Regina questioned.
“I’m not really sure,” He responded with a frown. “Wait, I got it – where’s my bed?” Desmond said, feeling like an idiot for forgetting such an important thing.
Regina laughed at him, “You forgot about your bed? How could you forget that?” She asked, still laughing.
Desmond chuckled a bit also, “I have no idea. I guess it just slipped my mind.” He shrugged.
Desmond and Regina made there way downstairs to the living room.
“Hey, dad, where’s my bed?” Desmond asked his father.
“Oh right, we forgot to tell you – we are just planning on buying you a new bed tomorrow, it’s going to be bigger then your old one.” Mr. Livingston said nonchalantly.
“What?-! Dad, where the heck am I going to sleep then? On the floor?” Desmond asked incredulously.
“Well…there’s always a sleeping bag?-!” Mr. Livingston offered. “Besides, me and your mother has too also, we are all by our beds tomorrow.”
Regina started to laugh loudly. Desmond frowned at her.
“No, no, that won’t be necessary; you can sleep in Regina’s room tonight, and Allegra and Felix can sleep in our guest room.” Mrs. Velez insisted.
Mrs. Livingston started to protest, saying that they were alright and that it was only for tonight – but Mrs. Velez got them to agree on it, and said there thanks.
Regina immediately stopped laughing, her eyes wide and mouth a gape, “What?-! Ma, no,” Regina highly protested.
“Why not; just think of it as a sleepover, you guys have had plenty, so it should be alright.” Mrs. Velez explained to her daughter.
“Oh yeah, Ma, that makes me feel so much better.” Regina said with an eye roll.
“Don’t roll your eyes at me, and besides, it’s just for tonight.” Mrs. Velez continued.
“He’s still going to have to sleep on the floor anyways, might as well be his own house. I don’t mind his parents, I love them,” Regina said hurriedly, smiling sweet at the parents.
Desmond frowned at what they said, “What’s that suppose to mean?” He asked, “Are you implying that you don’t love me?” He said with a frown, trying to make it sound like he was joking, but didn’t really succeed at it, seeing as how he looked quite hurt by what she said.
Regina immediately felt bad for what she said.
He’s been nice to you all day and this is how you repay him? The nerve of you, I’m appalled to be ‘myself’ or yourself. Wait, does that even make sense?
‘Oh, shut up…I already feel bad as it is, you (I) don’t have to make me (myself) feel even worse… - wow, that sounds kind of weird, but whatever.’
Regina sighed, “Fine, he can sleep on my room, but just not on my bed.” She said, looking at Desmond with a stern look.
Desmond just grinned at her, “Aw, that’s no fun.” He pouted at her.
Regina hit him lightly on the arm, “You’re such a dork.”
He just pretended to be really hurt by her punch, “Ouch, oh crap, that really hurts. I think you broke my arm! Oh man, someone call the ambulance – QUICK! I see the light, it’s coming, fast!” Desmond said dramatically, dropping down to the floor and clutching onto his arm and then finally pretending to ‘die’ – his eyes slightly rolled upwards and tongue hanging out of his mouth.
Regina just rolled her eyes at his antics, “Ha, and they call me the queen of being dramatic; it definitely should be you.”
At this, Desmond sat up quickly, “Hey! Are you calling me a girl?” He questioned.
“Me? No!” Regina said sarcastically.
“You’re going to pay for that. Oh and, don’t forget, you also spat on me – I still revenge on that.” He said, giving her a smirk.
Regina’s eyes widen, “Um…look, we can forget all of that, you know, the whole forgive and forget. It’s really great.” She said, trying to convince him.
“Hrm, let me think about that for a second,” He said, tapping his chin with fingers in a thoughtful matter. “Nah, I like my way better, much better. Desmond soon was up on his feet ready to chase her down.
Regina immediately bolted out the door, screaming over her shoulder, “Ma, I’m going home; I have the keys.”
“You can’t run from me; you can try, but you can’t,” Desmond said, laughing whole heartedly, running a notch faster.
The parents just laughed at their children’s childish antics.
-x-
“Babe, stop running from me – I’m going to catch up to you anyways,” Desmond yelled, closing the door behind him, and running up the stairs after Regina.
He ran faster and was just an inch away from her by the time they reach the top of the stairs. Before Regina could make it any farther, he reached out and grabbed her around the waist, pulling her down with him, but before they hit the floor, he made sure that she landed on top of him so that she won’t get hurt.
Desmond like out an ‘Umfp’ sound when she landed on his stomach. “Dang, how much do you weigh?” He asked jokingly.
Regina glared at him, “Hey, I know I may be fat but it’s your fault that I landed on you.”
“Wait, what did you say?” He asked, slightly confused. “What the heck are you talking about? You’re no way, at all fat; in fact, you need to eat more.” Desmond frowned at her, holding her down by the hips.
Regina tried to pull away, but Desmond had a firm hold of her hips, “No, I don’t! Why is everyone trying to make me fatter?” She practically screamed out.
“Darling, believe me, you’re not fat,” Desmond said exasperatedly.
“But…-” Regina tried to protest.
“No, I don’t want to hear it,” He said, putting his index finger to her lips. “Come on, we’re going to get a snack in the kitchen.” Desmond said, bringing himself up, still holding onto Regina’s waist, leading her down the stairs and into the kitchen.
Regina frowned at him, “Do we have to? I’m not really hungry right now.” She tried to protest again.
Desmond just ignored her, making her pout. He sat her down onto the kitchen stool, and opened the refrigerator to find some food for them. He reached in and took out some left over pie.
“Mm…looks good,” Desmond took in a whiff of the apple pie he was currently holding. “Don’t you just want to eat it all up?” He asked, placing the plate down in front of her.
“Not really…” Regina said unenthusiastically.
Desmond just sighed, and walked around the counter to open the drawer on the other side and pull out a fork.
“Wait, you only have one fork,” Regina said, her eyebrows furrowed in a confused manner. “So you’re not going to make me eat?” She asked hopefully.
“No, you’re still eating,” Desmond responded, taking a notice on her still confused expression. “We’re going to share the fork.”
“SHARE? SHARE?SHARE?” Regina asked incredulously.
“Yes, share, share, share,” Desmond said frowning. “It’s not like I have any decease or anything.”
“Well, I’m not so sure about that.” Regina mumbled to herself (or at least she meant to).
Desmond just frowned, looking hurt, “Fine, if you want, I’ll go get my own fork.” He handed her the current fork he was holding, and was about to get up to get another.
Regina reached out and grabbed his wrist, stopping him, “No, that’s okay, we can share. I’m really sorry; I’m just being cranky, and a real bitch towards you.”
Desmond looked at her with a deeper frown. “Don’t say that about yourself, because you’re not a bitch,” He said seriously. “You’re probably just PMSing, anyways.” He said jokingly, trying to keep on a straight face.
“You’re a jerk, and for your information, I already had my period.” She stated embarrassed.
Desmond chuckled, taking the fork from her clutches and taking a small piece of the apple pie, feeding it to Regina, but she shook her head and shut her mouth tightly.
“You’re so childish, come one, open up.” Desmond said, but Regina still refused.
Desmond sighed, “Fine, I guess I’m going to have to do this the hard way.” He started to press his fingers to her side, drumming them slightly. This of course, got Regina to open her mouth, letting out a loud laugh, squirming in her seat. Desmond took this chance to stick the fork into her mouth.
“Cheater!” Regina cried out accusingly, chewing and swallowing a piece of the pie.
Desmond chuckled, “It was the only way to make you eat some.” He said, taking a bite out of the pie. “And besides, that’s only part of my revenge.” He smirked at her mischievously.
“What, o-only a p-part of i-it?” Regina stuttered out.
“Yep, you’ll get the rest of the revenge later on tonight.” Desmond grinned at her.
“Haven’t I suffered enough already?” She asked, pouting at him.
“Maybe,” He said in a sing song voice, taking another bite, and then scooping her a piece of the pie, feeding it to her.
After twenty minutes of sitting in the kitchen eating the pie and talking, they were finished.
“Mm, you were right, that was good.” Regina said, licking her fingers.
“I’m always right.” Desmond said smugly.
Regina was about to retort on his smugness when the front door opened.
“Hey kids, we’re back. We just went out to get some pizza for dinner tonight.” Mr. Velez yelled out to them.
“Honey, be quiet. Sydney’s sleeping.” Mrs. Velez scolded her husband.
“Oh, sorry,” Mr. Velez said to his wife, kissing her cheek gently. “Here, let me take him to his room.” He offered, taking Sydney, and walking up to the baby’s room and placing Sydney in his bed.
Mr. Velez went back downstairs to the kitchen and they started to eat. While they ate, they discussed about there day and other stuff.
-x-
Regina stalked up the stairs, to the end of the hallway, and going into her room, laying down on her back, rubbing her stomach, “Damn, I have never ate so much before.” She said.
Desmond walked in chuckling, closing the door behind him, “That’s because you were really hungry, you practically haven’t eaten all day.”
“Eh, but still, I don’t think I should have eaten so much,” She said.
“Yeah, you did eat a lot.” Desmond said jokingly.
Regina glared at him and threw a pillow at him. Desmond caught it easily.
“We should get ready for bed; I’m tired.” Regina said, closing her eyes briefly.
Desmond grinned, “Alright, let’s strip!” He said enthusiastically.
“You’re such a dork, and no, we’re not stripping.” Regina said, rolling her eyes.
Regina got up and went to her dresser to take out her pajamas, and went into the bathroom that connected her brother’s room with her bedroom, and closed the door behind her.
Once she was done changing and brushing her teeth, she walked out of the bathroom wearing a light blue lace-trim jersey cami and a light blue printed embroidered lounge shorts, and she wore her darkish blue fuzzy slippers.
Desmond was stripping down to his red boxers by the time she came out. His mouth nearly hit the floor once he saw her.
“Damn, now that’s something I would definitely love to see you in everyday.” Desmond said; ready to (practically) jump her right then and there.
“Whoa, down boy,” Regina said jokingly. “Just go to bed, and put a shirt on why don’t you?” She suggested.
“Nah, besides, you know you like my body.” He said, doing a little ‘sexual dance’.
Regina snorted, “You’re such a dumb ass, I swear.”
“You have a sexy purr, growl and snort.” Desmond said, grinning at her. “Damn, I am definitely going to be lucky once I have you all to myself.”
“What do you mean ‘all to yourself’?” Regina asked.
“Nothing, let’s go to bed,” Desmond said quickly.
‘Damn, I can’t let her know how I feel yet – sure I drop a few hints here and there, but I don’t want to actually tell her straight out just yet…Besides, I have to get her to fully trust me first…’ Desmond thought to himself.
He was about to climb into Regina’s bed, but she stopped him.
“What are you doing?” Regina asked.
“Um, going to sleep,” Desmond said.
“No, you’re not…you’re going to get a sleeping bag and sleep on the floor,” Regina stated with a huge smile. “There should be a pink sleeping bag in the closet.” She snickered a bit.
“PINK? You want me to sleep in a pink sleeping bag?” Desmond asked incredulously.
“Yes,” Regina said matter-of-factly.
“No way,” Desmond protested. He then went up behind Regina and carried her over to the bed and laid her down gently, and then lay down next to her, hugging her to him by the waist.
“W-What…-” Regina was about to say, but was cut off by Desmond’s index finger on her lips.
“Shh,” Desmond cooed out. “Close your eyes and go to sleep, Babe.” He buried his head into the crook of her neck.
“B-but…you-you’re on my bed.” Regina said, stiffening at the closeness, but yet, loving the warmth he gave her.
“Be quiet or else you’ll find out what the second part of my revenge is,” Desmond murmured into her ear, smirk smugly. “Or you can let me sleep on your bed and we can just forget everything.” He said, bringing his head up to grin down at her.
Regina pouted, “Are you trying to ‘threaten’ me?” She asked incredulously.
“No, of course not – okay, maybe,” Desmond gave her an innocent smile.
Kanehila – Ha-ha, thanks! And yeah, I know, but I just needed the different POVs in that one chapter, so yeah, but I’m trying not to do it too much. Well, here’s the second chapter – I hope you like it, I worked hard on it, but I’m pretty sure it’s still a bit crappy. Ha-ha. Thank you for the review:)
Twilight Starr – Why thank you, I’m glad you like it. :D Lol. And yeah, I know I forgot some punctuation, but I try not to make too much. Well, here’s the next chapter; I worked extra hard on this one, but I’m sure it didn’t really help that much, Ha-Ha. Thank you for the review!
Lady of Confusion - Thank you for your gracious review:D And yeah, I try to make them at least somewhat funny. And thanks again. Here’s the next chapter, I hope you like it. :D
remae – Lmao, yeah, she is Filipino. I’m actually Filipino myself, he-he. xD Anyways, moving along now – Yeah, I knew it was going to be a bit distracting, but I kind of needed all the POVs in this chapter, so I put them in. And yeah, there friendship is basically just teasing each other and then flirting right after (well, it’s most Desmond who’s flirting, but Regina can be a flirt at times, ha-ha). Thank you for the review!
JelloGelatin – Ha-ha, of course he’s hawt. xD And sorry, but I already got dibs on him, Lol. :D Thank for the review!
Snows Sweetly Bitter Heart – I’m glad you like it. Oh, and I’m glad the speed of my story is to your liking, because I thought my story was a bit too slow and that people wouldn’t bother reading it, but I don’t like just jumping from one thing to another because I kind of think it’s messy (for the lack of better words) that way, but that’s just really my opinion. Desmond didn’t really get revenge on her, just a few teasing and tickling her a bit here and there, but he wouldn’t really do that to her, ha-ha. Here’s the next chapter, I hope you like it. Thanks for the review:)
COOKIES FOR EVERYONE! ;)
You're are all awesome as hell - you give me the inspiration. :)
P.S. If I get more wonderful reviews (from my current reviewers, and new ones) then you'll get some CANDY! Or whatever else you desire. ;) Lol.
He-he, I'm not trying to bribe anyone, , Lol.
So what happened in this chapter was that Regina and Desmond is that a somewhat revenge happened –just some tickling and teasing- they also finished some packing, and there’s going to be a bed-shopping tomorrow - which will be in the next chapter. And Desmond slept in Regina’s bed! GASP. GASP. I know, shocking, Lol. But isn’t he such a cutie, perverted, but a cutie. :D Lol. Regina also has a secert about her past and it's hard for her to trust certain people - even people she has known for ages - but will Desmond be able to figure it out and help her through it? They should also be starting school soon, and you’ll get to know more pre-main characters. Main characters, of course, are Regina and Desmond. And they are so cute with each other - Ah, fluffy moments! I love them:D
I hope you guys like this chapter and keep up the reviews, please! Thank you :D
