The moment the gods set foot on Devonmire, a being of darkness was born as well. The everlasting soul of pain, whose purpose in the world was to wipe out the gods. He was locked in Mount Krim by the being of light, in the hopes his children would never see his face. However, nothing was to come the way it was planned…

My Demon,

One final clash, the moment that brought the stars into being, and he was born. Created out of necessity, for the preservation of the battle, for spite alone.

You are Pain. Words, images, absorbing death and discord from the moment he came into existence. He fell without a name. Stopped, captured and sealed before he could draw breath. And the years passed, one melting into another as his darkness extended.

Could he remember his creator? Punished for his own existence, because he was created to destroy the gods. He waited in the darkness for something. An explanation? Forgiveness? What could a being of pain hope for? Devonmire would not have him, and the creator was silent. So he rotted in the belly of the mountain, swallowed by the earth, and captured in a moment of time that he couldn’t remember.

He was condemned for being, and simply that.
