Transparent

1 Corinthians 6:19-20

I walk through day to day

Going on my own way

God's somewhere in the back of my mind

I wear a happy face

All good news, not a trace

Of anything that's out of line

But when it comes to what's true

Just between me and you

I'm not being real with either of us

I need to face the fact

I just need to relax

And just be secure in Jesus

CHORUS:

I need to be transparent

A glass dwelling for you

'Cause You're the one who lives inside me

It needs to be apparent

That my life is made new

I've left behind my old fallacy

Because if I put up walls

And shut You in

How will they ever see?

Yes I go through trials

Seems I walk through miles

Yet not a step is without my King

Yes I do make mistakes

On my own, I would break

But now through the troubles I sing

CHORUS

INTERLUDE:

That God's the only live one living here

His Spirit in me makes me persevere

I must live in a way so that it is clear

CHORUS

I need to be transparent
