I hope you know what you're putting us through
Got home, sat down, didn't know what to do
I don't want to do anything tonight
'Cause nothing, nothing will make things all right

Darling, I love you- did you know?
I love you and I don't want to let go
But I can't sit there and watch her cry
Yeah- you know- you made her cry

All the thoughts in her head were driving her mad
'Cause she can't forget about what we had
And all she wanted was one last dance
And we just blew our last chance

Maybe I'm a bitch, but I won't let you forget
She's trying- they're crying- and yet,
No one sees- but you all should have cared
I don't know how you guys dared

She's crying, crying
They're trying
We're dying
What a dramatic ending

Nothing's the same
Everyone's to blame
And we all came
But no one finished the mending

Was it too much to ask for one last dance?
We had everything- that was our chance
Everything, everything is falling apart
What a way to break her heart
