Severing the Tie.

-Sarah Lynn

Don't make me say it.
You know how I feel about this.
you know I'm mad as hell
That you're doing this to yourself.
Love isn't everything
In our world.
It looks like it, but it isn't.
There's hate, fear, shame, happiness.
They all tie in to love, but
Someone insulting you isn't love.
I'm standing by, watching you die
And you act like this is normal.
Like 'everybody does it'
But oh, you're just different
Than everybody else.
Such devastating pain will 'only happen to me',
Nobody else has 'felt this before'.
Well guess what?
I'm feeling it because I'm losing you
And I didn't even have the chance
To rescue you before
Our tie
Twist and bent,
And was never the same.
Don't make me say it.
Don't make me say I hate you
For what you've done,
Because I don't.
It's just...
You're everyone else more than
You're hurting yourself.
