Blood Deception
Summary: Sequel to Silent Hill Secrets. Did Bobby survive after Chase left his in the pool? What new trouble will Chase, Kira, Kelby and Aaron get into now?
Prologue
“Bobby, can you hear me?”
“He should be awake soon, sister, stop pestering him.”
“Hush, Brother, I know what I’m doing. Bobby? Respond if you can hear me.”
“I think you should let him wake up on his own.”
“Oh, you’re so lucky you’re immune to my powers or you would so be begging for mercy right now.”
Bobby flinched as fingernails dug into his forearm and an inhuman growl erupted from his lips. Confused, he tried to move only to growl again because his limbs felt like cement. Another cold hand pressed him back onto the bed as he opened his eyes, his vision blurred as he tried to blink the bright light of the room from his eyes.
“Let me go!” he snarled.
“I’m sorry but I can’t,” the female voice sounded strained as Bobby fought, still blinking furiously to clear his vision. The woman stood over him, her hands braced on his arms to keep him on the bed while her brother, restrained him with plastic cuffs around his wrists and ankles. Furious, Bobby snapped at them, the woman backing off and running into her brother.
“Robert, please calm down,” she said, her long strawberry blond hair falling around her face in soft waves, piercing green eyes glared at him as he pale skin glowed in the dulled light. Bobby spat at her and she let out a warning growl, her eyes narrowing. The male, a tall man with icy blue eyes and a sharply defined face rushed to his sister’s side.
“Lithia, don’t,” he warned, cupping her face in his hands as pain spread through Bobby’s body in waves. The teenager let out a wail of agony as Lithia glared at him over her brother’s shoulder a satisfied smirk on her face as Bobby screamed. “LITHIA!”
Her eyes snapped from Bobby at the harsh sound of her brother’s voice and the screaming stopped. She huffed and pulled away from him. “He should learn to obey before we give him any more, Draco. He’s wild.”
“Leave us, Lithia,” Draco pointed to the door beside her, the stern look on his face igniting her temper. Glaring at him she swiftly turned toward the door and disappeared behind it without another word. As soon as she was gone Draco took Lithia’s abandoned seat with a deep sigh.
“Who the fuck are you and what the hell is wrong with me?” Bobby snarled, yanking at his restraints again. “I don’t feel right.”
Chuckling, Draco sighed, crossing one leg over the other and leaning back in his seat, “That’s because you’re not “right” Robert. We found you during our hunt for the Princes of our realm. You may know them as Chase Greene and Aaron Marco. Their mother, Akasha recently had them turn two rather special women into members of our race against the will of the Council who governs them. You happened to possess the perfect reason to hunt them for their judgment however, as a human you did not possess the proper strangth to correctly track and fight them, so we just tweaked a few things here and there.”
Bewildered, Bobby shook his head, “What did you do to me?” He glanced down at the rippling muscles flexing beneath his skin as he tugged at his restraints. “What have you done to me?”
“Relax, it was nothing bad, Robert. We simply fused your blood with that of a werewolf and now you have almost incomparable power and strength. You should be happy.”
“You turned me into a wolf?! How can I be happy about that? I don’t even know you!” Bobby yelled.
“Now, now, you won’t turn into a wolf like a regular werewolf would, you just possess a rather animalistic nature. You’ll act more on instinct than reason, but it’s a small sacrifice to take for your cause. The power is what you want and if you agree to assist the council in this small task even more riches and power will come your way,” Draco smiled.
“And what do you want me to do that’s so important?”
“We need you to eliminate Akasha and her sons. They have acquired too much power within the vampire world, crossing the most dangerous line when they turned your friends Kira and Kelby. They pose a threat to the established order the vampires have kept tor millennia. You will not regret your decision, I assure you,” Draco flashed a handsome smile.
“You want me to kill the people who took my two best friends away from me and that’s it? No strings attached?” Bobby hedged.
Draco simply nodded, his charming smile still in place as Bobby considered his offer. He watched carefully as the young man chewed the inside of his lip, his eyes, formerly a dark brown now tinged crimson from the wolf blood. After a while Bobby’s gaze returned to his and he flashed a determined smile.
“I’m in.”
