Walk

You take a walk
Not knowing when you’ll be back
I stay up waiting
Worrying over your sorry ass

You return safe and sound
You don’t say you’re here and ignore me
I can feel your gaze
Yet you still keep your distance

The doorbell rings
And you answer
You step out

Who is it?
Another girl?
Your friend?
Someone I don’t know?

You don’t return
I’m crying and worried
Ready to leave

It has passed and you don’t return
So now I decide to take a walk
Along with my things
I will never come back
