Damn corset

I think my ribs just cracked, again.

Ayden pulls harder at the laces and I fear I'm gonna scream.

"Stop pulling lace one, pull lace ten.''

"Don't snap at me, this is your dream-"

I turn around and looked in his eyes.

His eyes are so deep I thought.

"Your eyes are beautiful like the moonrise."

I can't believe he said that, "That's not-"

Before I could finish I felt his lips on mine.

I froze in place and slowly pulled away.

His fingers caressed my trembling jawline.

"Lets go. We can't stay here." I nodded, "Okay."

We got in his car and drove away. We stopped, the sky was no longer blue.

"I love you Lily." He tells me. "And I you."

(don't like the last line, this is an attempt at a sonnit. don't like it very much though...why does poetry have to be so hard?)
