zero: preface

This, as you’ve gathered from the description before clicking on the title, is a collection of vignettes, short stories regaling the tales of my experiences with some of mankind’s companions: animals.

These are all true stories, cross my heart and hope to die. But, honestly, sometimes I do wonder if the experience was worth it.

Anyway, these take place over the span of my life so far, and are arranged not by degree of importance or in chronological order, merely, just what strikes me every now and then and what I feel like writing. So really, there’s not all that much thought in this.

These events also take place in various places: school, at home, with my grandparents’, in rural Nicaragua on a school-building mission of sorts, and various other places.

It’s in third-person. You may find some very random phrases, but again, this is all mindless mumbo-jumbo.

I’ve never tried gumbo, but it rhymes with the last two words of the last sentence. Is it good? I don’t’ like seafood though. Hmm.

Anyway, you may start seeing a pattern after the second or third vignette. Live with it.
