Call me whatever you want,
I said, but you can't destroy
What you don't understand.

Take me wherever you want,
She spoke, as if I could know
Where she wanted to be.

Cold that could pierce to the core
Now blunt: I unleashed the storms.
Depression lifts at last.

Hearing the words of the Son,
I thought, All we are is all
We are imperfect, pure.

Life is much greater with mind
Free from the chains of belief
And here I am, awake.
