Witchery and cookery, eye-of-newt-and-tofu-stew.
The neo-suburbanite Satanists summon in the pantry
First they snip Fate’s strings, then blond cheveux, to
Seduce seductive Paganists from their highschool revelry.

Madame Osiris with a name from the menu
Of a trendy Egyptian restaurant, requires silence!
She’ll prove to us with withering glance the men who
Imbibe evil - using only the simplest of kitchen appliances.

Now they all encircle, chilled with a rain-induced quiver
To first ensnare wealth, then youth (all shoddy
Promises from an old boy who just can’t deliver) -
Better off just asking for a hobby.

Overheard snickerings in an eyelined booth:
“Babe, my dealer does devilry better than most.”
What a shame to be so skittish of the truth -
That Badness would sniff at black candles and trench coats.
