Game

Trembling I sat there,

the cold stones in my hand.

The touch of the black stones gave me confidence.

Sharply I placed the stone on the board.

The white came down in an instant.

Crushing me back into my fear.

Shy i reached into the bowl feeling the stones regaining my confidence.

I placed another stone only to be crushed back with an white instant.

Again i sat trembling in front of the board, looking down at my hands.

Is that what I want? Is that all I can do?

The stone wraped in my hand was held tighter, finally I looked up into her eyes.

Pure confidence, pure power i saw in her eyes, her beatiful eyes.

I held back my tears, now I finally understand.

I opened my mouth speaking shy and quiet:

"I resign."
