She entered the town and automatically smelled the scent of the pack. Her eyes became dark and searched all around her, knowing the pack leader was going to be sending someone to pick her up. Entering someone else's territory without permission is usually bad but in her case it was good. She wanted him to wonder about her, and then get frustrated.
Just as she pulled up to her little house, two men came up. One was built like a football player with sandy blonde hair and dark brown eyes where as the other was lean and tall with soft brown hair and gray shady eyes. She laughed softly to herself as they came closer. "Touch me and you will be taking blood offense." She warned. "I shall follow you in a moment, I don't want to leave my stuff in the car." She grabbed her bags, one was held close to her chest, and headed up the pathway with the two following closely behind her. They stood outside the door as they waited but peering in every moment. Quickly, she set the bags down, setting one on the couch, and shut the door and followed the other two to the pathway behind her house.
Soon
enough, they arrived. Two men were standing outside the door talking
when they caught the unfamiliar scent and turned toward her. Her
attired gave her room to move and didn't show off all the body but it
did give a good look to her figure. She wore cargo shorts that went
to the knees and showed off her legs with etnies that she uses in a
hurry. She wore a slightly baggy pull over sweatshirt that was white
that also holding in certain aspects. But she looked much like a
teenager and she liked it that way. It left people thinking she was
stupid and untaught. Silence enveloped the five until she started
getting agitated.
"We
better bring her to the boss." Football Guy spoke up and tried
to grab hold of her arm but she wretched it away from him.
"Don't
touch me." She snarled.
"Feisty,
aren't we?" One of the guardsman smirked.
"Come
on, woman." The tall one from before led her into the house and
then she froze. At least ten other wolves were in there and not only
were they wolves, but they were staring at her. Her eyes then scanned
over all of them until she caught the eyes of the alpha male. He had
a body of an Italian and he was gorgeous. His eyes were like the
deepest sapphires and she couldn't stop staring into them.
"What
are you doing on my territory?" He finally asked.
"First,
sir, aren't we suppose to ask of introductions?" She smirked,
trying to put on a haughty act. "I am Lex."
"I
ask again. What are you doing on my territory?" He growled.
"Down
to the point I see." She glanced around the room and blew her
bangs out of her eyes while rolling her sleeves to her elbows. She
then placed her hands on her hips. "Do you have a private
office? You might not exactly like what I am going to tell you to be
heard in front of your pack?"
The
pack leader stared at her, she seemed like a young teenager, messing
with people, toying around, not giving a care in the world but
something told him that she wasn't like that. Her manner seemed to
hold a purpose and her stance gave him the feeling she had power. She
had a certain feature to her that told him she knew more then she led
on. Question was, should he be allowing her to be alone with him?
She
stood in place and started taping her feet. All the stares were
starting to bug her. Lex was use to it but it annoyed her. She hated
it. In her pack, she was considered a spoiled brat and wilder then
most. But they also knew she was powerful for a she wolf. She then
started to growl when they continued staring. A female with long
blonde locks and baby blue eyes came up and snarled at her.
"Careful
wench. We don't want wars between packs. Besides your pack would get
the blame and you would be showing great disrespect to your back
leader and dishonor him. Where would you be then?" Lex growled
slowly at the impudent woman before her.
"Why
you little-" The blonde was about to smack her but was stopped
when the pack leader called for Lex to follow him. Lex grinned at the
wretched woman and followed happily while grinning like an idiot. But
as soon as she was out of the pack's sight, her cool demeanor
reappeared and she was silent.
As
soon as they were in the room, she went straight toward the window
and stood there until he was sitting. "What is it that you are
here for, with out permission, kid?" He asked, his voice was
rough but to her it was a voice that demanded attention and respect.
She liked that. Turning, she looked into his eyes and came a little
closer with a haughty expression on her face.
"I
am definitely not a kid-sir. I am in my twenties, which you would be
able to tell if I wasn't wearing this attire. Any who, I am running
from my father right now. We had a huge blow out. Kind of
disastrous. I would like to join the pack. For a short time, no
worries. It happens all the time, ask the Glakua clan or the Sileria
clan. I won't try to cause trouble. You lay down the rules and I
follow them as a faithful servant. I am Lex. Just plain old Lex. I
can earn my earning as well as any other. If I can be of any
assistance in your hunts or of other… necessities, you may call
upon me. I am very good at spying and 'hiding'. I have connections."
She winked jokingly but went back to her seriousness. "I know
this is out of the blue but it is what happens. I just need to wait
until my father cools off and I go back." The pack leader was
flabbergasted by the woman in front of him. She was headstrong, vain,
and who knows what else. He didn't know if he should keep her, he
didn't know where she was from or who exactly she was. That would
cause a problem.
"Where
are you from?"
"Um,
The Taria Clan…" She replied, vaguely.
"Wow.
Big power. Why not deal with your trouble face to face?" He
questioned. This caused her to laugh for a moment and that sound
filled his ears like a harmony.
"Have
you ever met my father when he is angry? Of course not, you wouldn't
have lived. Let's just say, for everyone's sake, that is better that
I leave until he cools… down." She replied as she turned
toward the window once again. Something caught her eye and she stared
at it. A scent. It moved away quickly but she knew something was
there. Her instincts kicked in and she pushed open the window. She
jumped into the air letting her form take over. The haze around her
body was an odd white color, like a pearl. She landed all fours and
sniffed the air around before taking run for the intruder. She chased
after the prey in pursuit.
The
pack leader stared after her and became slightly agitated, for he had
not seen why she had left.
"Dustin!"
He called into the hallway as he headed down back to the room. A
young man, mid-twenties, came running and bowed his head in answer.
"Take
care of the pack. The little cur ran off." He went out into the
night and transformed. His wolf from was of a russet red wolf but it
was of a bigger size. It was close to the size of a large cat. His
feet padded against the dew slicked grass and his nose followed what
little scent of her's he had caught. His ears were catching every
sound he passed by and his eyes brought in every detail of the
forest.
In half an hours time, he stopped and soon found her standing over a frightened wolf. She was growling in its ear and nipping ever time it moved. The wolf was of a pure white color with yellow-green eyes. The wolf was a runt, that much was for sure. A moments time and it flipped over and pushed her off. It then ran off. Lex stood by and shook the dirt off her glistening black coat and stared at her pack leader with bright green eyes. Her tail was slightly between her legs, and her ears were slightly down. It showed that she knew who was leader around her.
So you didn't run? You were chasing? He inquired.
Of course. Do you know the wolf? She asked.
Yes. She is the so called wench as you said earlier this evening.
Her? I let HER get away? She whined slightly. Lead on or am I to have to fight someone to receive admission into the pack?
You just fought part of my pack… You're in.
Then am I allowed to head home now?
What about your clothes back at the house?
I don't need them right now. Wait, what is your name?
Tyreke. I go by Ty.
Don't I have to call you boss though?
No. It is Ty.
Then fair hunting Ty. See ya later.
She then leapt over him and ran deep into the forest. He watched after her and sighed. Later, he made his way back to the clan.
