People say eyes are the window to the soul

The colours of brown, hazel, green and blue

Around a pupil as black as coal

Some can read them others don’t have a clue

Used to see, look, stare and glance

Can send subtle messages, understand and flirt

Keep eye contact, twinkle and romance

Some are lazy and droopy others awake and alert

They can be angry, blazing alight with fire

In a dirty look, a scowl, a glare

They can give away guilt, a deceiver, a liar

People can read the soul with one single stare
