I can't figure out what poem to write

I don't know what I should write about

So I decided to write a poem about me not knowin what poem to write

I could try to write a dark romantic poem,

In the vain of Edgar Allen Poe

But my mind wouldn't stay on the dark and dreary

Instead it would change to thoughtful and cheery

Making people think about their own values

But instead of becoming a poem

It would quickly become not a poem

So then I begun to wonder what I should write

Then it hit me what I could write

Write a poem that was comedical in some way

But that thought quickly died

Quicker than the life of a fly

So then I began to ponder

Ponder over what poem I should write

"Should I write something that is dark and dreary

Should I write something that requires people to think

Should I write something that is cheery"

Were the questions I found myself asking

After days of pondering I found my answer

Write a poem about me not knowin what poem I should write

Was the simple answer

Though in essence

My poem about me not knowin what poem to write

Has lead me to knowin what poem to write.
