A meeting that could have been inconsequential

But he called.

A merging of worlds,

First meeting of friends soon to be mine

My realization that I wasn't alone

This he gave me.

From a boy who knew nothing of me

He showed me a familiar foreign world

Smiled at me for every step I took.
