A freezing wind, chilling to the bone,

A hand, timidly reaching for the phone.

Look at the time, it's far too late,

But in all honesty, who can wait?

A girl, a girl, a girl.

In the blankets, all wrapped up,

I sit and smile, all snapped up.

Caught in a web, that thing called love,

There's no denying, it's from above.

A girl, a girl, a girl.

But when she's gone, it hurts so much.

I miss her warmth, her delicate touch.

She'd hold me close, and ever so tight,

When she does, it all seems so right.

A girl, a girl, a girl.

Eyes snap open; I leap to my feet,

Today is that day, that day we meet.

I cannot wait, it's been ever so long,

In just a few moments, I'll hear her sweet song.

A girl, a girl, a girl.

As I see her, my heart starts to flutter,

I try to speak, but can only stutter.

At a loss for words, I run to her place,

And wrap my arms tight, around her waist.

A girl, a girl, a girl.

I missed you babe, I missed you so,

I missed you more than you could ever know.

The words come rushing, too fast to speak,

I realise without her, I'm ever so weak.

A girl, a girl, a girl.

She holds me back, and whispers in my ear,

I love you, she says, and it's all I need to hear.

There's so much happiness, more than ever has been,

That's my girl, my dear sweet Yasmine.

My girl, my girl, my girl.
