Been looking for forever

But I cannot seem to find

Myself anything but never

In this world I can’t define.

I’ve been trying for so long,

To remember all the lines

To a long forgotten song,

I can’t get out of my mind.

I’ve been waking every dawn

To a world filled with beguiles

A whole symphony of cons

The falsehoods behind those smiles.

I’ve been sitting in this room,

For what seems my whole life long,

And my happiness, it looms

Over doubts that don’t belong.

Been loving you forever

But you cannot seem to see,

That in this world of never

With you is what I canbe.
