Her world was collapsing in upon her, the fragility of her soul betrayed. Her innocence was corrupted by the Outsiders. The Dark Warriors found a foothold in the mountains of her mind, and from there began to evolve, growing, destroying, terrorizing. Hiding in herself was no long an agreeable option. Introverting led not to a safe haven but instead a battlefield. Torment and torture became appearing self-inflicted. The Others saw her only as poison, a toxic flower unrecognized by the conscious mind.

But one saw the fragrance. One single Silent Soldier was willing enough to take a stand for this almost broken soul. The Silent Soldier alone heard her pleading cries and fought to vanquish the darkness that had enveloped her. It wasn’t an easy fight. The Black Lord’s minions matched the Soldier’s strongest blows, while the Dark Warriors hacked away from the inside. The fight seemed almost hopeless. She began to wonder if evil really would conquer good.

Then the subtleties crept in. The Silent Soldier started building up victories. The Dark Warriors started losing their hold on her. Finally, she was in control of her own self. Almost completely shattered and broken, she began to put the pieces back together. The attacks came less frequently and were more easily combated. Her world, though delicate, was whole.
