Darling, don't start crying again
Don't shed tears anymore
I know, it hurts- I know the pain
But, come on, stand up- get off the floor

You feel like there's nothing to live for
No reason to carry on
'Cause it hurts too much to just ignore
the fact that you never will belong

Darling, who told you such a horrid lie?
They who love to see you cry?
Pay no heed to those who hate
and the tragedies they create

Stand up and look around you-
Do you know what you see?
They, your friends, are waiting for you
Didn't you know that they would be?

Surround yourself with people who love
Let them remind you how to live and laugh
Hold tight to what you were deprived of
And start down your new golden path

Don't look surprised- we've always been here,
trying to help fight what you fear
You won't be alone ever again,
and you were never alone, even back then

Darling, we would do anything for you
We would live, laugh, and die for you
Don't believe them when they say you're alone
Don't listen because you're here at home
