Away From You

Be with you forever,
Spend eternity together,
With caresses of a lover,
For as long as we shall live.

I'll stay with you for all of time,
But that's not why I must sound this rhyme.
Standing strong against the world,
Enduring all, both in sea and sky.
Holding high these wings unfurled,
Give me space and I will fly.

Be with you forever,
Spend eternity together,
With the caresses of a lover,
For as long as we shall live.

My family's dead so you smother me,
For even in my dreams I know I'll never be
Who I am and what I once sought to be.
You never think for yourself - only me.
You're blind to you're fate, but I can see
You're full of yourself, so I guess eternity's not that long
You never cry because you always know you have me,
And my tears seem enough so you don't ever share yours.

Away from you forever,
Spend eternity with Mother,
With the thoughts of no lovers,
For as long as I shall live.

My heart isn't bursting with pride,
I never brush my feeling aside,
But my soul's not sold so I don't have to abide.

I am alone now,
And alone I will remain,
For I love you,
And you don't care.
