Eyes stare up into an empty space
A mind wanders forgotten
Memories flash between
The sheets covered with blood
How can something so wrong
Look so utterly beautiful?
Red hair drenched in red blood
A pale body contrasted against the sheets
Finally, a silence so perpetual settles down
And the wind allows one single breeze
Eyes stare up in wonder
At such a fitting beginning
For the end of a life
Artistic and unique
Even in the deepest of wide-eyed sleeps
