INT. GIRL’S & BOY’S BEDROOM-MORNING-INTERCUT

Alarm clock BEEPS. GIRL, age twenty-five, hits the top of the alarm clock.

GIRL

(Sighs)

Radio BLASTS. BOY, age twenty-five, hits the top the raio.

BOY

(Groans)

INT. GIRL’S & BOY’S BATHROOM-CONTINUOUS-INTERCUT

Girl brushes hair, music is BLASTING. Girl SINGS to the song.

Boy brushes teeth, music is BLASTING. Boy mouths the words to the song.

INT. GIRL’S & BOY’S LIVINGROOM-CONTINUOUS-INTERCUT

Girl turns on TV and sits on the couch, looking through the newspaper.

NEWSCASTER (O.S.)

There’s been an accident on Oakland

Street... The road is closed.

GIRL

No! Where am I going to get my

coffee?

Boy picks up his bag and walks out of the room.

EXT. JOE’S COFFEE-CONTINUOUS

There’s a long line coming out of the coffee place. Boy walks in to a WOMAN who is at the end of the line.

BOY

Excuse me.

Boy looks down the line and frowns.

WOMAN

This is the end of the line, so

don’t think you can go any further.

BOY

Okay?

EXT. CAFÉ COFFEE-CONTINUOUS

Girl walks in front of Café Coffee and stares through the window.

GIRL

This better be as good as my place.

Boy walks in front of Café Coffee. Girl and Boy both grab for the door. They look at each other and smile.

Fade to black.
