They spoke of a girl once before
Nobody ever knew her, but we all
Knew of her, the most beautiful girl in the world

She lived in a giant clock tower, they say
Which was frozen in ice, and that's where she stayed
Her name was Aryana Rose

And people would come from miles around
Just for a chance to see
And wonder, who that beautiful girl could be

But no one ever broke her silence
For no one could find the key
To the door that blocked Aryana's release

Oh, Aryana Rose

She stayed in her tower throughout day
Where no window would let in light
Frozen in an eternal night

Her lantern would only attract the vermin
The mosquitoes would bite and drain her life
But she'd never let the moths come near the light

And sometimes in the walls of ice
A reflection she'd sometimes see
And she'd wonder, who that beautiful girl could be

Who wore the key around her neck
That would unlock Aryana's release
But she'd never use it, and every day it grew more heavily

Oh, Aryana Rose

The gears will keep on clicking
The clock will keep on ticking
Aryana, your time is running down

You must give us the key
You must trigger your release
You must not let your potential drown

No never
Never will it be
Aryana
Your life is lost to thee

One day the hands of irony
Struck upon the twelve
And the walls of ice all came crashing down

Aryana, who never dared a chance
Is still there to this day
Her sanctuary now serving as her grave

And couples would walk by casually
Sometimes they would pause
And wonder, who that beautiful girl was
