for as long as i can remember i have faced discrimination
causing pain, causing distress, causing suffocation
i was a jew i was short i didnt think what others thought
acceptance was the only thing i sought
because sticks and stones can break any bones
and so can words-inside
but now i feel as if i dont have to hide

even though i'm a jew even though i'm short
it doesnt mean that my dignity can be bought
i always get cast as the stereotype
people are stupid sometimes and do believe the hype
but i just turn around and walk away
because people like that have nothing else to say

i will not take the bait
i will not be ashamed
its those that discriminate
that should be blamed
its those that segragate
that should be named and shamed.

for jess and abby and sarah and the whole of kadimah ljy-netzer 2K7
