So small, but so enormously painful

As days pass it digs deeper and harder

Tears burn, Blood boils

Anger mounts, words build

It's plain to see, only if you know it's there

The greatest happiness is shadowed by grief

Thoughts are plagued by mistakes, accidents, and tragedy

Misery has become a cruel friend

Throat tightens; breathing takes on a new difficulty

Darkness is easier to stay in than the light

There is no morphine, no way to calm the savage ideas

Still it teases. Throws the tiniest of daggers to twist in the mind

Slowly it kills, takes pieces of the body when it leaves madness behind
