Smoke…

Screams…

Fire…

It was all I could feel, see and hear at that moment. How I kept consciousness after falling out of a burning building 4 floors high, I’ll never know. All I know right now is that I’m going to die. I’m going to die. That single sentence was pulsating through my entire body as if it were blood. I couldn’t think of a way to stay alive.

Not far from my position lays Jordan, his stomach being torn open by a Visach. Oh, yeah, I forgot about the Visach, those bitchin’ killer aliens. It’s their fault that the world is slowly being destroyed. Ever since those scientists in Russia made contact with them, the Visach have been feasting themselves on the populace and taking our planet as their own!

Even as I’m rambling on, I can’t take my eyes off of the horrific sight being played before me. The Visach, a huge hideous mutation of both creature and machine, plunged its large clawed hands into my friend’s chest. Soon, he pulled out his blood-covered fingers, dragging out a mixed array of organs with them. As I watched it devour my pal’s insides, I wanted to shout out, but I was too afraid.

Unfortunately, the injuries and heavy amount of blood I’ve lost had begun to take its toll. As I slowly lose consciousness, I see another Visach begin to approach me…

My name is Suu and this is my life…in a world conquered by aliens.
