Since our return from England I was on strict house arrest. Jessica was highly disappointed. Max, being the cool fatherly figure that he was, didn't seem as upset about it since it was "in the name of love." (Max's words.) Man he's such a sap.

I groaned as Kyle pulled into the school parking lot. Kyle laughed, and swiftly kissed the back of my hand. I could see Arielle and Ryan standing beside the door waiting for me. I still think it's funny that Ryan and I went from being all into each other to being two close friends, he and Ashley were totally over, and now he was after one of the new blonde girls in our school. Arielle was totally content with Kyle's new roommate who just happened to be the lovely Edward. She was over at the apartment about as much as I was. I sighed dramatically and Kyle smiled. He used the hand I had twined with his to pull me closer to him, and his lips touched mine. It was meant to be a brief kiss, but I tangled my hands in his long hair and his breath broke against my lips as he laughed, but he kissed me back with just as much intensity and my back touched the seat of the chair, and Kyle hovered above me. My lips left his and I left a trail of kisses from his lips to his collar bone, and he froze, and I frowned.

“No!” I shouted as he began to push himself away.

“Lily, we’re in the parking lot of your school.” He said. Why did he have to be the reasonable one? Isn’t it supposed to be the other way around?

“So then, let’s go back to your apartment…” I suggested as he adjusted his shirt so that it covered his lap.

“No, you’re in enough trouble as it is.” He said sternly.

“That has nothing to do with this!” I said loudly. “You’re just waiting until I’m legal.” I scowled.

“And you can’t even begin to imagine how painful that wait will be if you keep throwing yourself at me.” He said, closing his eyes and leaning his head back against the headrest.

"Then let’s not wait." I said taking this opportunity to continue trailing kisses down his neck, and then I bit him playfully, and he jumped.

“Lily!” He shouted, his hands flying to his pants. “I’m going to end up beating the hell out of this car, and it’s going to be your fault!” He said sending me a death glare. I leaned over to kiss him one last time, and lightly ran my fingers down his chest, and he jumped again.

“See you after school.” I said kissing him on the cheek, and then I jumped out of the car before he could yell at me, and ran to the school building with his glare burning through my back. “Hey guys.” I said as I reached Ryan and Arielle.

“He looks pissed.” Arielle told me as we headed into the building.

“Good.” I said, they both laughed.

“Poor guy, he doesn’t even stand a chance.” Ryan said, and we all went to homeroom.
