it takes more than just
this word called
“love”
to cross distances-
valleys and mountains,
(the steps you take)
endless oceans.

(my hand, unable to hold you back)

like a fragile promise,
the tender petals blown
upon the wind
soon, scatter

if only there was more
than a simple
“i believe”
then perhaps these illusions
can become...

(real, in my heart, with time)

burning with desire/hope/dreams
but you won't-
(we both)
unable to continue/renew

as i still chase after
scattered memories
and hold them gently
(in my heart... real, always)
