those white collared suits just hit the ground
we painted the windows red with blood
and let them be a cautionary tale of things to come
we're tear the babes from their mothers; throw them in the river
to make the water turn a nice indigo
and while the town was burning down
we watched that shade of blue
and thought before it ended we had made a difference too.
