Dancing shadows
Spinning black and blue
Porcelain cracked – and fragile
And hoping to break.

Beautiful and vanishing
Trying so hard to create destruction
In a bowl which stares back placidly
And will remain at rest.

Immense warmth with the onset of cold
Always shivering in the sun
So weak
So fragile
So true

A shrine to all, to win to lose.
